A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR
CERTAIN SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE ANAHEIM
POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Police Department provides services to the public to
supply clearance letters, impound vehicle releases, California Vehicle Code equipment violation
corrections, copies of audio and video tapes, booking recovery, and fingerprinting service; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has previously established a
fee schedule for such services as provided by the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that certain fees should be increased at this
time in the manner hereinafter specified; and
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter adopted do not exceed the estimated reasonable
cost of providing the service for which the fee is charged; and
WHEREAS, the indicated fees have been considered at a duly noticed public
hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the fees for service described in this resolution provided by the Police Department
are hereby established in accordance with the amounts set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this resolution shall be
ninety (90) days after its adoption.
BE IT ADDITIONALLY RESOLVED that all fees currently established for
services provided by the Police Department shall continue in full force and effect except as
increased or decreased in the resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 19 day of June , 2018, by the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Council Members Vanderbilt, Barnes, Kring, and Faessel
NOES: Council Member Murray
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: Mayor Tait and Mayor Pro Tem Moreno
