A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING CITY COUNCIL POLICY No. 217
AND RESOLUTION No. 89R-359 REGARDING
PREFERENTIAL PARKING ZONES
WHEREAS, City Council Policy No. 217 establishing procedures for the creation of
preferential parking zones became effective on August 22, 1989 after having been authorized by
Resolution No. 89R-359; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to rescind both City Council Policy No. 217 and
Resolution No. 89R-359 to allow a review of issues regarding permit parking.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as
follows:
1. City Council Policy No. 217 is hereby rescinded, and shall be of no further force or
effect following the adoption of this Resolution.
2. Resolution No. 89R-359, dated August 22, 1989, is hereby rescinded in its entirety.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 20th day of May, 2003.
