A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FOR THE ABANDONMENT OF OX ROAD
NORTHERLY FROM BALL ROAD. (Abandonment No.
2001-00037)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopt, declare its intention to vacate certain
public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant to
the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law;
and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by
law; and
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of March, 2002, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of Ox Road
northerly from Ball Road as et forth in the records of the Office
of the County Recorder, County of Orange, California, as shown on
Exhibit A, attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the

and remove, at any time and from time to time, any and all existing or future public
utilities, facilities, and improvements of any kind which are for the public benefit,
including but not limited to, electrical, water, sewer, storm drain, traffic control
devices, and telecommunication facilities, structures, fixtures, and appurtenances,
in, under, on, over, above, along, and across the entirety of said above-described
PUBLIC STREET KNOWN AS OX ROAD, together with all rights of ingress and
egress thereto, including the right to enter onto said EASEMENT at any time and
from time to time, with such vehicles, machinery, and equipment as may be
necessary or convenient to the City of Anaheim, its agents or assigns, for any and
all purposes herein mentioned.
ALSO RESERVING THEREFROM unto the City of Anaheim a permanent
EASEMENT for drainage purposes, including the right to drain surface water from
that certain public road known as Ball Road, on, over, under, along, and across
said above-described PUBLIC STREET KNOWN AS OX ROAD.
ALSO RESERVING THEREFROM unto Southern California Gas Company, an
EASEMENT for Public Utility purposes to construct, place, operate, inspect,
maintain, repair, replace, and remove existing gas line facilities and
appurtenances over, under, along and across all of the entirety of said above-
described PUBLIC STREET KNOWN AS OX ROAD, together with all rights of
ingress and egress thereto. Said EASEMENT reserved unto Southern California
Gas Company is subordinate in all respects to the above EASEMENT reserved
unto the City of Anaheim.
ALSO RESERVING THEREFROM unto Pacific Bell Telephone Company, an
EASEMENT for Public Utility purposes to construct, place, operate, inspect,
maintain, repair, replace, and remove such aerial and underground telephone,
telegraph, and communication structures as the company may from time to time
require, consisting of poles, anchors, wires, cables, conduits, manholes, markers,
and necessary fixtures and appurtenances over, under, along and across entirety
of said above-described PUBLIC STREET KNOWN AS OX ROAD, together with
all rights of ingress and egress thereto. Said EASEMENT reserved unto Pacific
Bell Telephone Company is subordinate in all respects to the above EASEMENT
reserved unto the City of Anaheim.
