A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RATES, RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE SALE
AND DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRICITY AS ADOPTED BY
RESOLUTION NO 71R-478 AND MOST RECENTLY AMENDED BY
RESOLUTION 95R-207
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim maintains an electric generation and distribution
system for the distribution of electricity to residents and inhabitants of the City of
Anaheim and has adopted Rates, Rules and Regulations for the sale and distribution of
electricity; and
WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Board of the City of Anaheim at its meeting on
April 16, 1998, considered proposed revisions to the Rates, Rules and Regulations
concerning changing the Stabilization Rate to decrease the moneys transferred from the
Rate Stabilization Account to the Electric Utility's Operating Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Board recommended to the City Council that the
Council adopt the proposed revisions to the Rates, Rules and Regulations as shown in
Attachment A; and
WHEREAS, City Council has considered the recommendation of the Public
Utilities Board and concurs in that recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. The changes and additions to the Rates Rules and Regulations as shown in
Attachment A are hereby adopted by the City Council with an effective date of May 1,
1998.
2. The Public Utilities General Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
prepare, promulgate, publish and implement changes and additions to the Rates, Rules and
Regulations as set forth herein.
