98-073RESOLUTION NO. 98R-73 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSIFICATIONS ASSIGNED TO THE GENERAL UNIT REPRESENTED BY THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated April 28, 1998, that new job classifications be established in the General Unit represented by the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, effective May 1, 1998; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the creation of these new classifications and assignment to the General Unit represented by the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that, effective May 1, 1998 through December 9, 1999, the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees in the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary Schedule Master: Classification Senior Hazardous Materials Specialist Used Oil Program Coordinator Schedule Step Salary Relationship 290O 1726 A-E 1.225 x Fire Inspector II J-E 1.000 x Police Services Representative II BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that, effective December 10, 1999 through September 28, 2000, the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary Schedule Master: Classification Senior Hazardous Materials Specialist Used Oil Program Coordinator Schedule Step 2987 1778 Salary Relationship A-E 1.225 x Fire Inspector II J-E 1.000 x Police Services Representative II AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution is May 1, 1998. f:',home\vkilmur,,OT2123 VK
