A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING
CLASSIFICATIONS AND RATES OF
COMPENSATION FOR CLASSIFICATIONS
ASSIGNED TO THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, GENERAL UNIT
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report
dated August 14, 2018, that the need exists to create certain classifications within the Anaheim
Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, effective the pay period beginning August 24,
2018; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the creation
of this new classification and assignment to the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association,
General Unit, is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that effective the pay period beginning August 24, 2018, the basic compensation plan
for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the
future be employed in the classification listed below shall be allocated to the following salary
schedule:

Animal Control Officer $26.40 - $33.69 4 - 9 .915 x Code Enforcement
Officer II
SECTION 2.
Except as amended herein, classifications assigned to the Anaheim Municipal
Employees Association, General Unit, shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
The effective date of said amendment to classifications assigned to the Anaheim
Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, as amended, is August 24, 2018.
