RESOLUTION NO. 89R-358
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING LEVY OF A
REASSESSMENT BY THE CITY OF YORBA LINDA
ON CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Yorba Linda wishes to refinance the
1915 Improvement Act Bonds for Assessment District No. 83-1
("AD 83-1") for the economic benefit of the property owners within
AD 83-1; and
WHEREAS, a portion of AD 83-1 is within the City of
Anaheim and the City of Anaheim's consent to assumption of
jurisdiction is required to permit levy of a reassessment in
connection with the refinancing; and
WHEREAS, the City of Yorba Linda will act as the issuer
and be responsible for administering the AD 83-1 refinancing; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is not responsible in any
way for any costs, claims, payments, and/or liabilities in
connection with the AD 83-1 refinancing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yorba Linda has
requested this Council's consent to the levy of a reassessment on
property within the City of Anaheim, all pursuant to the
provisions of the Refunding Act of 1984 for 1915 Improvement Act
Bonds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council consents to said levy of the
reassessment and wishes to memorialize its consent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
Pursuant to Section 10103 of the Streets and Highways
Code, this Council consents to the levy of a reassessment on
property within the City of Anaheim through proceedings taken by
the City of Yorba Linda pursuant to the Refunding Act of 1984 for
1915 Improvement Act Bonds for Assessment District No. 83-1
(Limited Obligation Refunding Improvement Bonds, Series of 1989).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of Anaheim this 22nd day of August, 1989.
