RESOLUTION NO. 89R- 367
A RESOLUTION OF TH1 CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM WHICH ESTABLISHES RATES
OF CO~PENSATION FOR CLASSES ASSIGNED TO THE
CLERICAL EMPLOYEES UNIT REPRESENTED BY THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the need exists to create the classification of Telephone
Operator/Receptionist Supervisor; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff
report dated August 15, 1989, that this new job classification be created; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has determined that this new
classification be assigned to the Clerical Employees Unit represented by the
Anaheim Municipal Employees Association; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the
creation of this classification is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. That, effective August 18, 19~9 through October 12, I9b9, the
basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim
listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary
Schedule Master:

2. That, effective October 13, 1989 through October II, 1990, the
basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim
who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classification
listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary
Schedule Master:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all provisions of the Memorandum of
Understanding, dated December 9, 1987, between the City of Anaheim and the
Clerical Employees Unit of the Anaheim Municipal 1mp10yees Association apply
to the foregoing classification.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of August , 1989.
