RESOLUTION NO. 89R~474
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER, ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER, OR
THEIR DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT AND CONSENT TO DEEDS OR
GRANTS CONVEYING REAL ESTATE OR ANY INTEREST
THEREIN TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM IN CONNECTION WITH
THE ACQUISITION OF THE ANAHEIM SPORTS ARENA AND
RELATED SITES.
WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code requires
the acceptance of deeds or grants by a political corporation or
governmental agency prior to recordation of such a deed or grant
in the Office of the County Recorder; an
WHEREAS, Section 27281 further permits a governmental
agency or political corporation to authorize an officer or agent
to accept and consent to such deeds or grants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager,
Assistant City Manager, or their designee be, and are hereby
authorized to accept and consent to deeds or grants conveying any
interest in or easement upon real estate to the City of Anaheim
in connection with the acquisition of the Anaheim Sports Arena
and related sites.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim, this 27th day of December,_
