RES-2019-002 RESOLUTION NO. 2019- 0 0 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS AND RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSIFICATIONS ASSIGNED TO THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, GENERAL UNIT WHEREAS,the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated January 15, 2019, a change in job title for one classification, a change in compensation for one classification, and new a classification be established and assigned to the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, effective the pay period beginning January 25, 2019; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that a classification title change, a compensation change, and the creation of a new classification and assignment to the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, are in the best interest of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: SECTION 1. 1. That effective the pay period beginning January 25, 2019, the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classification listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule: Classification Salary Range Steps Salary Relationship Victim Advocate $26.18 - $31.82 05-09 1.00 x Senior Police Services Representative 2. That effective the pay period beginning January 25, 2019, Appendix A and Article 17, Salary Relationships, of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Employees, and the City of Anaheim, as amended, is hereby further amended by modifying the following job classification title: From To Signal System Engineer Signal System Coordinator 3. That effective the pay period beginning January 25, 2019, Appendix A and Article 17, Salary Relationships, of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Employees, and the City of Anaheim, as amended, is hereby further amended by modifying the following job classification compensation and salary relationship: Classification Salary Range Steps Salary Relationship Forensic Specialist II $36.03 - $43.79 05-09 1.15 x Forensic Specialist I SECTION 2. Except as amended herein, classifications assigned to the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. The effective date of said amendment to classifications assigned to the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, as amended, is January 25, 2019. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
