A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING NEW RATES
OF COMPENSATION AND PAY POLICIES FOR
CERTAIN PART-TIME UNREPRESENTED
CLASSIFICATIONS AND AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2015-173 AND AMENDMENTS
THERETO
WHEREAS,the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report
dated January 15, 2019, that new rates of compensation and pay policies for certain
unrepresented part-time job classifications be established; and
WHEREAS,the need exists to amend Resolution No. 2015-173 and amendments
thereto pertaining to rates of compensation and pay policies for certain unrepresented part time job
classifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the.City of Anaheim does find that establishing
new rates of compensation and pay policies for certain unrepresented part time job classifications
is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
SECTION 1.
1. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that, effective the pay period beginning January 25, 2019, the basic compensation
plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the
future be employed in the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary
schedule:
Classification Step Hourly Salary
Fire Cadet 7—9 $14.00 - $15.00
2. That effective January 25, 2019, the salary relationship established in
Resolution No. 2015-173 for the classification listed below shall be eliminated.

Fire Cadet 1.00 x Fire Cadet
SECTION 2.
Except as amended herein, classifications assigned to the Part-Time Unrepresented
unit, shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
The effective date of said amendment to classifications assigned to Part-Time
Unrepresented unit, as amended, is January 25, 2019.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.

of the City of Anaheim this 15 day of January , 2019, by the following roll call vote:
