RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM RATIFYING THE SUBMISSION OF AN
APPLICATION,ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,TO
THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF
GOVERNMENTS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING
INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING SERVICES FROM THE 2018
SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES PROGRAM; AND
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC UTILITIES GENERAL
MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT THE AWARDED
SERVICES, AND TAKE SUCH ACTIONS AS REQUIRED BY
THE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) has
allocated funds for electric vehicle charging infrastructure planning services from the 2018
Sustainable Communities Program (Program); and
WHEREAS, SCAG has evaluated, ranked and awarded proposals submitted for
projects under the Program; and
WHEREAS, SCAG requires a resolution certifying the approval of the application
by the applicant's governing body before receipt of awards; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim (City) submitted an application to SCAG to
obtain electric vehicle infrastructure planning services from the Program, and SCAG has awarded
these services to the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. The submission of an application by the City to SCAG to obtain electric vehicle
infrastructure planning services from the Program is hereby ratified.
2. The Public Utilities General Manager, or designee, is authorized and directed to
accept, for and on behalf of the City, electric vehicle infrastructure planning
services from the Program.
3. The Public Utilities General Manager, or designee, is hereby authorized and
directed to execute any agreements,certificates,assurances,reports,plans,payment
requests, or other documents as may be necessary for the purpose of obtaining the
electric vehicle infrastructure planning services from the Program and complying
with the Program,including any extensions and amendments thereof, and take such
actions as are necessary or required in furtherance of the Program

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 27th day of August , 2019,by the following vote:
AYES:Mayor Sidhu and Council Members Kring, Barnes, Brandman,
Moreno, Faessel, and O 'Neil
