A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2014-094 FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CREATING, DELETING AND/OR
MODIFYING CERTAIN CLASSIFICATIONS
DESIGNATED AS MIDDLE MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report
dated December 17, 2019, that the need exists to create, delete and/or modify certain
classifications within the designation of Middle Management, effective the pay period
beginning December 27,2019; and
WHEREAS, such additions require an amendment to Section 1 of Resolution No.
2014-094, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees
(AFSCME) is recognized as the exclusive representative for employees designated as Middle
Management; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that creating,
deleting and/or modifying such classifications designated as Middle Management is in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
1. That, Section 1 of Resolution No. 2014-094, as amended, is further
amended by creating the following classifications:
Classification Salary Range
Claims Manager XCR14
2. That, Section 1 of Resolution No. 2014-094, as amended, is further
amended by changing the title of the following classifications:
From To
Environmental Services Manager Environmental Services and Safety
Manager
Plan Check Supervisor Plan Check Manager
SECTION 2.
Except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2014-094, as amended, shall remain in
full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
The effective date of said amendment to Resolution No. 2014-094, as amended, is
December 27, 2019.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 1 7 day of December , 2019, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Sidhu and Council Members Kring, Barnes, Brandman,
Moreno, Faessel, and O ' Neil
