A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING A MUNICIPAL
REORGANIZATION FOR THE TRANSFER OF
CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY FROM THE
CITY OF BUENA PARK TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DESIGNATED AS ORANGE COUNTY MUNICIPAL
REORGANIZATION NO. 114.
WHEREAS, a resolution for a proposed municipal
reorganization designated Orange County Municipal Reorganization
No. 114 (transfer of territory from the City of Buena Park to the
City of Anaheim) was heretofore filed by landowner petition and
accepted for filing on December 7, 1988, by the Executive Officer
of the Local Agency Formation Commission ("Commission") pursuant
to Part 3 of Title 5, Division 3, commencing with Section 56000 et
seq. of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Officer of the Commission,
pursuant to Government Code Section 56838 set January 25, 1989, as
the hearing date of said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Officer of the Commission,
pursuant to Government Code Section 56833 reviewed said proposal
and prepared a report including his recommendation thereon, and
furnished a copy of said report to each person entitled to a copy;
and
WHEREAS, said resolution was accompanied by proof
satisfactory to the Commission that the sole land owner within the
territory proposed to be reorganized has given its signed consent
to such reorganization; and
WHEREAS, said Commission on January 25, 1989, considered
the proposal and report of the Executive Officer, and considered
the factors determined by the Commission to be relevant to said
proposal including, but not limited to, factors specified in
Government Code Section 56841; and
WHEREAS, said Executive Officer has determined this
proposal to be categorically exempt from the provisions and the
requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; and
WHEREAS, said Commission adopted its Resolution No. 89-14
on January 25, 1989, making certain determinations and authorizing
the City of Anaheim, as the conducting authority, to reorganize
said territory without notice and hearing and without election
pursuant to Section 56837 of the Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Orange County Municipal Reorganization No.
114 (Transfer of Territory from the City of Buena Park to the City
of Anaheim) for that certain territory within the City of Buena
Park, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly
described in Exhibits A and B to this Resolution, be, and the same
is hereby, approved and ordered without notice and hearing and
without election pursuant to the authority of Section 56837 of the
Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim shall immediately transmit a certified copy of this
resolution to the Executive Director of the Local Agency Formation
Commission.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of March
1989.

That portion of the North half of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
p of Section 15, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City
3 of Buena Park, County of Orange, State of California as shown on a map filed
in Book 51, Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said county, more particularily
described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary line of the City of Anaheim
as established by the "Knott-Cerritos Annexation",' said angle point the intersection
of the "Westerly line of the Southeasterly one quarter of the Southeasterly
one quarter of said Section 15 with the Northeasterly right of way line of the
Pacific rlectric Railway" as shown on said annexation map;
Thence leaving said existing boundary line N53°"'~'03"W-- ., 324.A4 feet along
said Northeasterly line to its intersection with the Southeasterly right-of-way
line of the Carbon Creek flood control channel as sho~ on oaid map;
