RES-1989-184RESOLUTION NO. 89R-184 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 87-1 AND THE ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS RELATING THERETO HERETOFORE ADOPTED PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 87R-253. WHEREAS, pursuant to the procedures set forth in Chapter 18.93 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has heretofore adopted its Resolution No. 87R-Z55 approving Specific Plan No. 87-1 ("Specific Plan") and approving Zoning and Development Standards ("Standards") relating to Specific Plan No. 87-1; and WHEREAS, the City Council did hold a public hearing upon said application, notice of which hearing was given in the manner required by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after due consideration of all evidence, testimony and reports offered at said public hearing does hereby find with respect to said proposed amendment that: 1. The property covered by the specific plan has unique site characteristics including topography, location and surroundings which will be enhanced by the special land use and developments standards of the specific plan; 2. The plan is consistent with the goals and policies of the General Plan and with the purposes, standards and land use guidelines therein; 3. The specific plan will result in development of a desirable character which will be compatible with existing and proposed development in the surrounding area; · and The specific plan contributes to a balance of land uses; 5. The specific plan respects environmental and aesthetic resources consistent of economic realities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Specific Plan No. 87-1, and the Zoning and Development Standards Relating to Specific Plan No. 87-1, as approved by Resolution No. 87R-253, be, and the same is hereby, amended by amending the Standards for Development Area 12 as set forth in Section 6.3.1 of said Specific Plan No. 87-1 by the addition of new paragraph 2 to the Subsection thereof entitled "Development Area 12" to read as follows: AMDG SP87-1 "2. Required Parking Spaces - ^11 covered parking spaces shall be located within 100 feet o£, and be readily accessible to, the dwelling unit to be served; provided, however, that 55% of the required covered spaces may be located between 101 to 150 feet from the dwelling unit served and 16% of the required covered spaces may be located between 151 to 220 feet from the dwelling unit served, and further provided that only one covered parking per unit space shall exceed the 100-foot distance, and that any covered parking space exceeding said 100-foot distance shall be located in a carport. Required open spaces shall be located within 200 £eet o£ the unit served." BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as expressly amended herein, Resolution No. 87R-255 and Specific Plan No. 87-1 shall remain in full force and e££ect.
