A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT TO SELL CERTAIN
CITY PROPERTY TO THE ANAHEIM HOUSING
AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns certain property
located on the east side of Brookhurst Street north of Crescent
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Housing Authority desires to
purchase said property and reconvey said property to a developer
for the development of low-and moderate-income housing; and
WHEREAS, the sale of the property without advertising for
bids or otherwise complying with the provisions of Section 1222 of
the Charter of the City of Anaheim is hereby determined to be in
the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does, by a vote of at least two-thirds of the
total members of the City Council hereby approve the terms and
conditions of that Purchase and Sale Agreement with the Anaheim
Housing Authority and authorize the sale of the property.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6th day of June ,
1989.
