A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 88R-399 IN
CONNECTION WITH PERSONS AUTHORIZED TO ACT ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM IN SMALL CLAIMS
ACTIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find
and determine that it is necessary in the normal course of business
in the City of Anaheim to investigate, prosecute, defend, settle
and consummate litigation involving small amounts, the jurisdiction
of which is vested in the Small Claims Court; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 88R-399 the City Council of the
City of Anaheim authorized certain City employees to act in the
City's behalf in connection with small claims actions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 88R-399 be, and it is hereby,
amended to add the following names to the list of persons
authorized to represent the City of Anaheim in small claims
actions: Mary Turner, City Treasurer; George Ferrone, Finance
Director; Ron Rothschild, Administrative Services Director;
Richard Storey, Assistant Finance Director.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except to the extent amended
herein, Resolution No. 88R-399 shall remain in full force and
effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of June
1989.
