A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RESOLUTION 89R-281 WHICH ADOPTED THE
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE ANAHEIM POLICE ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, on June 27, 1989, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 89R-281, and through error Article 47, UNIFORM
PATROL GRAVEYARD SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL, was incorrectly stated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interest of the City of Anaheim to amend said
Resolution No. 89R-281, nunc pro tunc, to correctly reflect
Article 4?, UNIFORM PATROL GRAVEYARD SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 89R-281, is hereby
amended nunc pro tunc to correctly reflect Article 4?, UNIFORM
PATROL GRAVEYARD SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL, of the Memorandum of
Understanding between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Police
Association.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Article 47, UNIFORM
PATROL GRAVEYARD SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL, as corrected nunc pro tunc
herein, is attached to this Resolution and incorporated by
reference as though fully set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except to the extent
amended herein Resolution No. 89R-281, shall remain in full force
and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 18th day
of July , 1989.

ARTICLE 47
UNIFORM PATROL
GRAVEYARD SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
47.0 An employee assigned to shift one uniform patrol shall be
eligible to receive graveyard shift differential pay effective
July 21, 1989.
47.01 A premium of 2.0~ of the employee's regular hourly
rate of pay shall be paid for work performed in
the graveyard shift.
47.02 Graveyard shift premium shall be payable only for
regular shift hours actually worked and shall not
be paid for overtime or non-work time, such as
vacations, holidays, sick leave, etc.
