A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES
ASSOCIATION, GENERAL UNIT AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1987, the City Council
approved Resolution 87R-510, adopting a Memorandum of
Understanding between the Anaheim Municipal Employees
Association, General Unit and the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Labor Relations Director met and conferred
with officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim
Municipal Employees Association, General unit, to discuss
specific concerns relative to amending Article 17, Salary
Relationships and Appendix "A", Wages; and
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated July 21, 1989
between the parties has been prepared amending certain
provisions of the current Memorandum of Understanding dated
December 9, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find that approval of said Letter of Understanding, is in the
best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated July
21, 1989, between the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association,
General Unit, and the City of Anaheim, a copy of which is
attached hereto; is hereby approved and the Labor Relations
Director is authorized to sign said Letter of Understanding on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of tile City of Anaheim this 1st date of Auqust. 1989.
