AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO
IN TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING
(RECLASSIFICATION NO.97-98-08).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, following a duly noticed public hearing held
on December 28, 1997, pursuant to the provisions of Section
18.03.085 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, the Planning Commission
did adopt its Resolution No. PC97-179 determining that a change
or changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described should be made, unconditionally.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning map referred to in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
rezoning and reclassifying that certain property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
THAT PORTION OF LOT 5 OF THE MILES RANCHO, IN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, AS SHOWN ON A MAP RECORDED IN
BOOK 4, PAGE 7 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, RECORDS
OF SAID COUNTY, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE CENTERLINE OF
SPADRA ROAD DISTANT THEREON NORTH 239.66 FEET
FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH THE CENTERLINE OF
ROMNEYA AVENUE; THENCE NORTH 890 54' EAST 30
FEET TO THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING ON THE
WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 5; THENCE NORTH 890 54'
EAST 250.00 FEET; THENCE NORTH 130.00 FEET;
THENCE SOUTH 890 54' WEST 250 FEET TO SAID
WEST LINE OF LOT 5; THENCE SOUTH 130 FEET
ALONG SAID WEST LINE OF LOT 5 TO THE TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING.
THAT PORTION OF LOT 5 OF THE MILES RANCHO, IN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, AS SHOWN ON A MAP RECORDED IN
BOOK 4, PAGE 7 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, RECORDS
OF SAID COUNTY, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE
CENTERLINES OF SPADRA ROAD AND ROMNEYA
AVENUE; THENCE NORTHERLY 239.66 FEET; THENCE
NORTH 890 54' EAST 280 FEET PARALLEL TO THE
SOUTHERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 5; THENCE
NORTHERLY 130 FEET PARALLEL TO THE WESTERLY
LINE OF SAID LOT TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
THAT CERTAIN LAND CONVEYED TO THE ARNOLD
CONSTRUCTION CO., BY DEED RECORDED IN BOOK
3142, PAGE 230 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS, SAID
POINT BEING THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING OF
THE HEREIN DESCRIBED LAND; THENCE FROM SAID
POINT OF BEGINNING NORTHERLY ALONG THE
NORTHERLY EXTENSION OF THE EASTERLY LINE OF
SAID ARNOLD CONSTRUCTION CO. LAND TO A POINT
IN THE SOUTHEASTERLY LINE OF THAT CERTAIN
LAND CONVEYED TO MARIAM LITTLETON, AND
OTHERS, BY DECREE RECORDED IN BOOK 6003, PAGE
182 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS; THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY
ALONG THE SOUTHEASTERLY LINE OF SAID
LITTLETON LAND TO THE POINT OF INTERSECTION
OF THE NORTHERLY LINE OF THE ARNOLD
CONSTRUCTION CO. LAND; THENCE EASTERLY ALONG
SAID NORTHERLY LINE TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
into the CL (Commercial, Limited) zone;
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made
a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City
Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning
Department is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of June
