88-020RESOLUTION NO. 88R-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR
COMMISSIONERS OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore declared the need for a housing authority to
function in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore declared
itself to be the commissioners of the Authority pursuant to
Section 34290 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, Section 34274 of the Health and Safety
Code authorizes commissioners of the authority to receive
per diem payments for their attendance at meetings of the
Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. Each commissioner of the Anaheim Housing
Authority shall receive a payment of Fifty Dollars ($50.00)
for each meeting of the Authority attended by that member.
2. No commissioner shall receive payment for
attending more than four meetings of the Authority during
any calendar month.
3. Commissioners shall receive their necessary
traveling and subsistence expenses incurred in the discharge
of their duties in addition to the payments herein provided.
