A RESOLU~IiON OF THE Ci'IY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAItEiM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF RHE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMEN% NO. 258, EXHIBIT "B."
WttEREAS, tile City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of February, 1988, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for the
area of land consisting of approximately 1.8 acres located
approximately 650 feet west of the intersection of Dale and
Lincoln Avenues, having an approximate frontage of 500 feet on the
north side of Lincoln Avenue, and further described as 106-115 N.
Terri Circle; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC88-59 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as Amendment No. 258 be adopted by the City
Council changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed
area to "Medium Density Residential" in accordance with Exhibit
"B"; and
WltEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 25rd day of
February, 1988, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 258 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and continued such hearing to March 15, 1988, and
did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard, and did receive evidemce and reports and did consider the
recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 238 changing the land use designation in tile
aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "B" on file with
the City should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 238 to the General Plan
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to
"Medium Density Residential" tn accordance with Exhibit "B" on
file with the City be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE 1T FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No. 238 as herein adopted and
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 15th day of March
1988.
