A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AGREEING TO A REDISTRIBUTION
OF PROPERTY TAXES FOR ANNEXATION NO. 274 -
SERRANO AVENUE NO. 3
WHEREAS, the owner of the property at the northwest
corner of Serrano Avenue and Nohl Ranch Road has requested to
annex to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Section 99(B) of the Revenue and Taxation
Code required jurisdictions involved in any jurisdictional
change to agree to a property tax redistribution prior to the
change becoming complete; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the County of Orange
have agreed to a Master Property Tax Agreement establishing a
formula for said redistribution; and
WHEREAS, Annexation No. 274 - Serrano Avenue No. 3
meets the criteria for an "Undeveloped" Annexation as described
in the Master Property Tax Transfer Agreement; and
WHEREAS, a map depicting the area of Annexation No.
274 is attached hereto and designated Exhibit "B".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby agree to a redistribution of
property tax for Annexation No. 274 - Serrano Avenue No. 3
pursuant to the "Undeveloped" provisions of the Master Property
Tax Transfer Agreement.
