A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 224, EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the
recommendations of the
adopted a General Plan
City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of January, 1988, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for the
area of land in the vicinity of Weir Canyon Road and Monte Vista
Road as a site for a police substation; and
WHEREAS, at said pubIic hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC88-21 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as Amendment No. 224 be adopted by the City
Council changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed
location to a police substation in accordance with Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 1st day of
March, 1988, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 224 arid did give notice thereof in the manner and
provided by law; and
as
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 224 changing the land use designation in the
aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with
the City should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 224 to the General Plan
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed location
to a police substation in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with
the City be, and the same is hereby, approved.
