A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING FEES TO BE CHARGED
FOR USE OF VIDEO CASSETTE CIRCULATION BY
ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim through the Anaheim Public
Library has determined it is desirable to begin circulation of video
cassettes to supplement the print materials available through the
Anaheim Public Library; and
WHEREAS, video cassettes are a desirable but not essential
library service, the City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby
determines that it is appropriate that a fee be established for use
of said video cassettes; and
WHEREAS, the fees and charges hereinafter established do not
exceed the actual cost incurred by the City of Anaheim in providing
and maintaining the stock of video cassettes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the fees and charges for use and circulation of
video cassettes shall be as follows:

$0 - $20.00 $1.00
$20.01 - $60.00 $2.00
$60.01 - and up $3.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the following additional fees be charged for lost,
damaged, over-due, or not-rewound tapes:
Rewind Fee ........................ $0.50
Lost or damaged video cassettes...$5.00 processing fee plus
replacement cost of item
Overdue tapes ..................... Cost of additional rental
periods (two-nights) until
returned or declared lost
