UNI)ERSTANDING BETWEEN TitE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, GENERA[, UNIT AND THE
EiTY OF ANAItE]M
WHEREAS, oil Decemhe? 15, 1987, the City Coancil
approved Resolution 87R-510, adopting a Memorandum of
lYaderst anding between the Anaheim Municipal Employees
Associatiou, Geaepal Unit and the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the tlumaa Rcsaurces Director met and conferred
w~ th ufficials and employee representatives of the Anaheim
Mut:Jcipal Employees Association, General Unit. to discuss
spr~cific concerns relative ta ameuding Article 17, Salary
Re]atinuships and Appendix 'A", Wages; and
WHEREAS. a Letter of Understanding dated July 12, 1988,
between the parties has been prepared amending certain
provisions of the current Memorandum of Understanding dated
December 9, ]987; and
WHEREAS. thc City Coancil of the City of Anaheim does
find that approval of said Letter of Understanding, is in the
best interest of the City uf Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by tile City Council of
t h~, City of Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated July
~?. 1988, between the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association,
(;eaeral Unit, and the City nf Anaheim, a copy of which is
attached hereto; is hereby approved and the Human Resources
Director is authorized to sigh said Letter of Understanding on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION

AND THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM
The Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit and
the City of Anaheim, after meeting and conferring, have reached
an understanding to amend Article 17, Salary Relationships and
Appendix "A", Wages, as follows:
ARTICLE 17
SALARY RELATIONSHIPS
17.0 ANAHEIM and AMEA agree that wages for all
classifications represented by AMEA shall be based on the
salary relationships shown below. The rates i~ "Appendix
A" reflect an agreed upon implementation plan to these
salary relationships.
