A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM INFORMING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AGENCY OF CERTAIN
CHANGES IN THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF
ARTERIAL STREETS AND HIGHWAYS ON THE GENERAL
PLAN.
WHEREAS, certain changes or amendments have been made
during the year 1987-1988 to the circulation element of Arterial
Streets and Highways on the General Plan as set forth in
Attachment A hereto; and
WHEREAS, the City's Master Plan of Arterial Highways
(MPAH) is mutually satisfactory and in conformance with those of
its adjacent governmental jurisdictions and the County; and
WHEREAS, the City has adopted a setback ordinance to
protect ultimate arterial highway right of way; and
WHEREAS, the City has adopted provisions for the
limitation of access to the arterial highway system in order
protect the integrity of the system; and
to
WHEREAS, in order to participate in the Arterial
Highway Financing Program of the County of Orange, it is necessary
that the Advisory Committee of the Orange County Environmental
Management Agency be advised of any changes in the Circulation
Element of Arterial Streets and Highways on the General Plan, and
be requested to adopt said changes into the County Arterial
Highway Master Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the County of Orange be informed, and it
is hereby informed, that certain changes or amendments have been
made in the Circulation Element of Arterial Streets and Highways
oil the General Plan of the City of Anaheim as set forth in
Attachment A.
