88-262RESOLUIION NO. 88R- 262 A RESOLUilON O~ lliE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAIIEIM ESTABLISHING AND MODIFYING FEES FOR PLANNING, ZONING AND LAND USE PETITIONS, PERMITS, APPROVALS AND APPEALS. WHEREAS, the Anaheim Municipal Code and State Law authorize the City Council to establish filing fees for the purpose of defraying the cost and expense to tile City of receiving and processing certain petitions and applications for various planning, zoning and other land-use related permits and approvals; and WHEREAS, those costs and expenses include: labor costs in reviewing and analyzing the applications; postage, materials and labor costs in posting and advertising notices of the hearings in the application; and other direct and indirect costs to the City; and WHEREAS, tile City Council has heretofore established some of the fees authorized by said provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code and state law, but not others; and WHEREAS, due to increases in City costs, it is in the public interest and welfare to establish fees heretofore authorized but not established and to amend other fees heretofore established; and WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that said fees, in the amounts hereinafter set forth, are less than or equal to, but in any event not greater than, the actual direct and indirect costs and expenses incurred by the City in receiving, processing and analyzing said petitions, applications and appeals; and WHEREAS, the City Council further finds and determines that this establishment and amendment to fees is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 21080(b)(8) of the California Public Resources Code. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: 1.
