A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIl, OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE ANAHEIM
FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION, LOCAL 2899, AND THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, on March 8, 1988, the City Council approved
Resolution 88R-104, adopting a Memorandum of Understanding
between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Firefighters
Association, Local No. 2899; and
WtIEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred
with officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim
Firefighters Association, Local No. 2899, to discuss specific
concerns relative to amending Article 81, Holidays; and
WHEREAS, an agreement dated May 31, 1988, between the
parties has been prepared amending certain provisions of the
current Memorandum of Understanding dated March 04, 1988; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Agreement dated March 04, 1988,
between the Anaheim Firefighters Association, Local No. 2899,
and the City of Anaheim, is hereby approved and the Human
Resources Director is authorized to sign said Agreement on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
