A RESOI,UTION OF TIll, CITY C()UNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO 86R 334 WHICH ADOPTED THE MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF
ELECTRICAL WORKERS, LOCAL NO. 47 TO INCLUDE
AN AGREEMENT REACHED RELATIVE TO
ARTICLE BS, INSURANCES
WHEREAS, on the I5th day of July, 1986, the City
Coancil adopted Resolution No. 86R-334, approving a Memorandum
of Understanding between the City of Anaheim and the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 47;
and
WBEREAS, tile Human Resources Director met and
couferred with officials and employee representatives of tile
international Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 47,
to discuss specific concerns relative to amending Article 65,
insurances of the Memorandum of Understanding: and
WHEREAS , a Letter of Understanding dated
Ma~'ch 24, 1988, between the parlies has been prepared and signed
amending provisioos of the current Memorandum of Uuderstaoding;
and
WHEREAS, the Cily Council of the City of Anaheim does
find thut approval of said Letter of Understanding is in tbe
best interest of the City uf Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
ol the City of Anaheim does find that said Letter of
Understanding dated March 24, 1988, between the City of Anaheim
and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers,
[,ocal No. 47, be, and the same is hereby, approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 3rd day

BETWEEN THE
INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS
LOCAL NO. 47
AND THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers,
Local No. 47, hereinafter referred to as the "IBEW", and the
City of Anaheim, hereinafter referred to as the "CITY", after
meeting and conferring, have reached the following understanding
to provide an enhanced 1959 Survivor Benefit amending the
current Memorandum of Understanding as follows:

INSURANCES
ANAHEIM agrees to adopt Section 21382.4 of
the California Government Code, which will
increase monthly 1959 Survivor Benefits
for Full Formula members to $350 (1), $700
(2) and $840 (3 or more) as soon as
possible.
