A RESOLUTION OF THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DISAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 239.
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS, on the 29th day of February, 1988, tile City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for an
area consisting of approximately 13.7 acres located south of
Center Street, west of West Street, north of Broadway and east of
the Santa Ana Freeway; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC88-68 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and a recommendation that said Amendment to the
General Plan designated as Amendment No. 239 be adopted by the
City Council, changing the land use designation for a 7.5 acre
portion of the aforedescribed area to Low-Medium Density
Residential; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 12th day of
April, 1988, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 239 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
Amendment No. 259 changing the land use designation in the
aforedescribed area should not be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 259 to the General Plan
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area be,
and the same is hereby, disapproved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City o£ Anaheim this 12th day of April, 1988.
