A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 237, EXHIBIT "A"
(REHEARING).
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of January, 1988, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for the
area of land consisting of approximately 5.7 acres located at the
northwest corner of Muller Street and Lincoln Avenue; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC88-24 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as Amendment No. 237 be adopted by the City
Council changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed
area to "Medium Density Residential" in accordance with Exhibit
"A"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 9th day of
February, 1988, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 237 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, following the receipt of evidence and testimony
at said public hearing, the City Council adopted its Resolution
No. 88R~71 disapproving said Amendment No. 237 to the City General
Plan; and
WHEREAS, thereafter within the time provided by law, the
City Council did receive an application for a rehearing upon said
determination which application for rehearing was subsequently
granted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS,

Amendment No. 237 changing the land use designation in the
aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with

NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1'1 RESOLVED by the City Council o£
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 237 to the General Plan
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to
"Medium Density Residential" in accordance with Exhibit "A" on
£ile with the City be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No. 237 as herein adopted and
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 5th day of April, 1988.
