���°-- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAI�
EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, CLERICAL UNIT.
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1987, the City Council adopted Resolution
No. 87R-511, approving a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of
Anaheim and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, Clerical Unit; and
WHEREAS, the Labor Relations Director met and conferred with
officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim Municipal Employees
Association, Clerical Unit, to discuss specific concerns relative to the
Kaiser Health Benefit Plan; and
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated September 28, 1988 between
the parties has been prepared and signed enhancing the Kaiser Health Benefit
Plan, said enhancements to be effective January l, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it is
in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to approve said Letter of
Understanding.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Cir,y of
Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated September 28, 1988 between the
City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, Clerical
Unit, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein,
is hereby approved and said Memorandum of Understanding is hereby amended in
accordance with the terms of said Letter of Understanding.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anahei�i this llth day of October , 1988.

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION
CLERICAL UNIT
AND THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM
The Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, Clerical Unit and the City of
Anaheim after meeting and conferring have reached an understanding on the
enhancement of the Kaiser Medical Plan benefit to provide for Vision Care
benefits at a 1989 cost of:
Single Party �1.41 per employee per month
2—Party �2.82 per employee per month
Family �3.99 per employee per month
The effective date of this enhancement shall be January 1, 1989. The parties
agree that the cost of this enhancement shall be considered part of the amount
to be paid by the City as provided in Section 51.012 of the Memorairlum of
Understanding between the Association and the City of Anaheim.
