A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A LBTTER OF
UNnERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
"_" THE INTERNATIONAL BR4THERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL
WORKERS, LOCAL N0. 47
WHERBAS, on July 15, 1986, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 86R-334, approving a Memorai�dum of Understanding
between the City of Anaheim and the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers, L�cal No. 47; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and confc:rred
with officials and employee representatives of the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 47, to discuss
specific concerns relative to amending Appendix "A", Wages of
said Memorandum of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated
August 25, 1988, between the parties has been prepared and
signed amending certain provisions of the current Memorandum of
L'nderstanding, said amendments to be eff'ective
September 1, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City �f Ariahei� �oes
find that it is iii the best interests of the City �� Anaheim t�
approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the �ity 'r';ouncil of
the City of Araheim that the Letter of Undersi.andirig dated
August 25, 198Ei, between the City of Anaheim and the
Internationul Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 47, a
co�y of whicit ?.s attached hereto and incorporated by referecice
herein, is hereby approved and said Memorandum of Ilnderstanding
is t�ere�ay amenr.�ed ?ii accordance with the terms of said Letter of
Understanc�in�.

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
between the
INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS
Local No. 47
and the
CITY OF ANAHEIM
The International Brotherhood Of Electrical Workers,
Local No. 47, and the City of Anaheim after meeting and
conferring, have reached an agreement to amend Appendix "A",
Wages effective September 1, 1988, as fallows:
The classification of Line Mechanic and Electrical
Helper shall be designated in Appendix "A" by a"U2"
before the schedule numbers.
