A RESOLUI'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL �F THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER QF
UNDERSTANDiNG BETWEBN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
"`" THE I�TERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL
WORKERS, I,OCAL N0. 47
WHEREAS, on July 15, 1986, the City Council adopted
Resolution �o. 86R-334, approving a Memorandum of Understanding
between the City of Anaheim and the International Bratherhood of
Electrical Workers, Local No. 47; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources I)irector met and conferred
with officials and employee representatives of the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 47, to discuss
specific concerns relative to amending Article I7, Salary
Re.lationships and Appendix "A", Wages of said Memorandum of
Understanding; and
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated
September 8, 1988, between the parties has been prepared and
signed amending certain provisions of the current Memorandum of
Understanding, said amendments to be effective
September 2, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the City Gauncil of the Ci#.y �f t�naheim does
find that it is in the best interests of the City o� Anahei.rs� to
approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW THEREFdRE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the C.ity Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Letter of Understantiing cl�ted
September 8, 1988, between the City of Anah�im and the
Int.ernational Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 47, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference
herein, is nereby approved and said Memorandum of Understanding
is her�bgr a,�nended in accardance with the terms of said Letter of

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Ciry Council of the City of Anaheim this 20th d�
