A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 85R-429 WHICH
ESTABLISHED RATES OF CO}~ENSATION FOR
UNREPRESENTED PART-TIME JOB
CLASSIFICATIONS WITH FULL-TI~ EQUIVALENTS.
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff
report dated January 13, 1987 that bilingual pay be amended in Resolution No.
85R-429; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No.
85R-429 which established rates of compensation for unrepresented part-time
job classifications with full-time equivalents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
That, effective January 23, 1987, Section 2 is hereby amended in
Resolution 85R-429 to read as follows:
Section 2. Part-time employees required to speak, read and/or write
in Spanish or other languages as well as English as part of the regular duties
of their position shall be compensated at the rate of twenty-five cents (256)
per hour in addition to their regular pay. The appropriate department bead
shall designate which positions shall be assigned bilingual duties and which
languages shall be eligible for bilingual pay.
AND BE iT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except to the extent amended,
Resolution No. 85R-429 shall remain in full force and effect.
