A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
DATED MARCH 16, ]987, BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND THE ANAHEIM FIRE FIGHTERS
ASSOCIATION, LOCAL NO. 2899
WHEREAS, on August 21, 1984, the City Council
adopted Resolution 84R-321 approving a Memorandum of
Understanding between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Fire
Fighters Association, Local No. 2899; and
WHEREAS The Human Resources Director met and
conferred with officials and employee representatives of the
Anaheim Fire Fighters Association, Local 2899 to discuss
specific concerns relative to amending said Memorandum of
Understanding to include an agreement reached on the Hazardous
Ma'teria]s Program,
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated March 16,
1987, between the parties has been prepared and signed amending
provisions of the current Memorandum of Understanding effective
October 7, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find that approval of said Letter of Understanding is in
the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does find that approval of said Letter of
Understanding dated March 16, 1987, between the City of Anaheim
and the Anaheim Fire Fighters Association, Local No. 2899 be,
and the same is hereby, approved.
