A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANA_hE1M APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
DATED biAAiCH 12, 1987, BETWEEN THE CITY OF
A~N~A4EIMA~ND THE ANAHEIM FiREF1GHTERS ASSOCIATION,
LOCA~L NO. 2899.
WHEREd~S, on August 21, 19~4, the City Council adopted Resolution
84R-321 approving a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Anaheim
an~ the Anaheim Firefighters Association, Local No. 2899; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred with
o~icials and employee representatives of the Anaheim Firefighters
Association, Local No. 2899 to discuss specific concerns relative to amending
sai~ Memorandum of UnGerstanding to include an agreement reached on the Joint
Committee Medical Program.
WHEREAS, a Letter o~ Understanding dated March 12, 1987, between
the parties tms been prepared and signed amending provisions of the current
Memorandum of Understanding effective October 7, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the
approval of said Letter of Understanding is
Anaheim.
City of Anaheim does find that
in the best interest of the City
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of
Anaheim Goes find that approval of said Letter of Understanding dated March
12, 1987, between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Firefighters
Association, Local No. 2899 be, and the same is hereby, approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City oI Anaheim this 24th day of March~ 1987.
