RESOLUTION NO. 98-R~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING
FEES FOR PARKING AT THE ANAHEIM
CONVENTION CENTER TO BE EFFECTIVE
JULY 1, 1998.
WHEREAS, by Resolution 89R-250 dated June 10, 1989, as
amended by Resolution 91R-131 dated May 7, 1991, the City Council
of the City of Anaheim established fees for parking at the
Anaheim Convention Center at Six Dollars ($6.00) per space,
except as provided by contract or otherwise specified; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the
fee for parking at the Anaheim Convention Center should be
amended; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the
fee for parking at the Anaheim Convention Center should be
amended; and
WHEREAS, prior to adopting this resolution, the City
Council has held a public hearing, at which oral or written
presentations could be made, as part of a regularly scheduled
meeting and notice of said hearing was published twice in a
newspaper the first publication occurring not less than ten days
prior to the dat of said hearing as required by Government Code
Section 66018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution 89R-250, as amended, be
amended by establishing the fee for parking in the lots of the
Anaheim Convention Center at Seven Dollars ($7.00) per space,
except as provided by contract or otherwise specified.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of the
parking fee for the Anaheim Convention Center established herein
be July 1, 1998.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 16th day of June
1998.
