A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REQUESTING THE ORANGE COUNTY
TRANSPORTATION COblMISSION TO ALLOCATE ORANGE
COUNTY UNIFIED TRANSPORTATION TRUST (OCUTT)
FUNDS FOR THE "EVENTS COMMUNICATION" SYSTEM
PROJECT IN THE ANAHEIM COMMERCIAL RECREATION
AREA.
WHEREAS, Chapter 1512, Statutes of 1985 allows the Orange
County Transportation Commission to allocate funds from the rapid
transit reserve to local agencies for the planning, design, and
construction of state highways; and
WHEREAS, the OCUTT State Highway Program includes
$300,000.00 in fiscal year 1987-1988 for a demonstration project
in the Anaheim Commercial Recreation area; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has awarded the contract for
the project on November 4, 1986, for $676,437.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim hereby requests the Orange County
Transportation Commission allocate $300,000.00 in OCUTT funds to
the City. This request is in conformance with the OCUTT
allocation process.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim agrees to
submit a final report to the Orange County Transportation
Commission within ninety (90) days after the City's acceptance of
the improvements.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
