AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 172Z_
emeries 1965-66 in Reclassification No. 65-6-2c�3 r p ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of theAnaheimMuni+
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 1 h day of
e %ember , 19 65, as the time, and the Councilamber in
the City Half of t�City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission, and did adopt Resolution(s) No. (s) 4 ,
finding and determining that Title 18 of the An henicipal
Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the
boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in
said resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 65R-70
, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
PARCEL NO. 1:
The -,Jest =.00.00 feet of tine south -calf of the northwest
quarter of the southhwest quarter of the northwest quarter of
section 9, Township 4 Sou L, Range 10 Nest, in the Rancho
San ,Tuan Cajon de Santa ina, city of Anaheim county of Orange,
state of California, as per map recorded in book 51 page 10
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the county recorder
of said county.
EXCEPT the North 132.00 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPT the Soutii 158.00 feet thereof.
Said land is included within the area shown on a map filed in
book 40 page b of Record of Surveys, in the office of said
county recorder.
PARCEL NO. 2:
Tine Norte 9.00 feet of the South 158.00 feet of the West 500
feet of the South one-half of the Northwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 9, Town-
ship 4 SouLi, Range 10 t1jest, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de
Santa `Ana, city of Anaheim, county of Orange, state of Calif-
ornia, as the "Jesterly portion of said section is shown on a
map filed in gook 28 page 32 of Record of Survey in the office
oZ the county recorder of said county.
now is R-<, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
I. That all air conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view from abutting streets, prior to
final building inspection.
2. That the face of the building, not including the
four -foot roof overhang, shall be set back equal to the face of
the sun screen on the building to the north.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended,, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
cilade a part of tine zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Cleri: shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
