AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT-.
WHEREAS, the City ?Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1707
Series 1965-66 in Reclassification No. 65-66-15 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the na e m Mun c pa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 17th day of
Au ust , 19 65 , as the time, and the Counc-f amber in
the City Hall of t�City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission, and did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s) 65R_6 ,
finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the
boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in
said resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 65R -Q1
certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
That portion of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho Las Coyotes, City of Anaheim, as shown on
a map thereof recorded in book 51, page 10, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the South line of said Section 18,
distant thereon South 890 59' 47" East 494 feet from the
Southwest corner of said Section 18, and running thence
North 00 17' 20" East, parallel with the West line of
said Section 18, 236 feet to the South line of Tract
No. 1446, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 72,
pages 5 and 6, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County; thence South 89 59 47' East, along said South
line, 111.06 feet to the West line of Tract No. 2529,
as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 71, pages 17,
18 and 19, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County; thence South 00 27' 48" West, along said West
line, 236 feet to the South line of said Section 18,
thence North 890 59' 47" West, along said South line,
110.34 feet to the point of beginning.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the follow-
ing conditions:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in ac-
cordance with approved plans on file in the Office of the Director
of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets, prior to final
building inspection.
2. That adequate clearance of existing electrical
lines shall be provided as required by the Electrical Division
of the Utilities Department, and the State of California G.O. 95,
prior to final building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
