AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 17762
,Pries66 in Reclassification No. 65-66-40 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of t e na e m Mun c pa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the day of
October , 19 65 , as the time, and the Counc amber in
the City Hall of tFe City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in, the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission, and did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s) 65R-798 ,
finding and determining that Title 18 of the Ana e m n c pa
Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the
boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in
said resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 65R-798
, certain conditions and requirements were macre
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
The Northerly 57 feet of the Southerly 114 feet of that por-
tion of Vineyard Lot G-6, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in book 4, pages 629 and 630, Deeds, records of Los Angeles
County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point 144.75 feet Westerly measured at right
angles from the monumented center line of South Palm Street
and 38.25 feet Northerly measured at right angles from the
monumented center line of West Water Street; thence Northerly
parallel with said center line of South Palm Street, 513.25
feet to the Northerly line of the land conveyed to Joseph
William Heinz, et ux., by deed dated November 19, 1925, and
recorded in book 619, page 4, Deeds, records of said Orange
County; thence Easterly along said Northerly line to a point
34.75 feet Westerly at right angles from the monumented center
line of South Palm Street; thence Southerly along a line
parallel to said monumented center line of South Palm Street,
513.25 feet, more or less, to a point in a line 38.25 feet
Northerly measured at right angles from the monumented center
line of West Crater Street, which line is the Northerly line
of West Water Street as fixed by that certain deed recorded
January 8, 1927, in book 10, page 81, Official Records, in
the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County;
thence Westerly along said Northerly line of West Water Street
110 feet to the point of beginning.
NOTE 1: Said land isshown on a Licensed Surveyor's Map
recorded in book 7, page 16, Record of Surveys, in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County.
now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That sidewalks shall be installed along Harbor
Boulevard at the ultimate location and grade, as required by
the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and
specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer, prior
to final building inspection.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file in the Office of the
Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets, prior
to final building inspection.
3. That the existing structure on subject property
shall conform to the Uniform Building Code as adopted by the
City of Anaheim for commercial structures; and that all required
alterations shall be completed prior to final building inspection.
4. That subject property shall be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans and specifications on file with
the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibits Nos. 1, 2 and 3.

SECTION 2 .
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
