AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 14, CHAPTER 14.20, SECTION
14.20.070(a) OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE, RELATING TO TRAFFIC.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 14, Chapter 14.20, Section 14.20.070,
Paragraph (a) of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 14.20.070 APPROACHING THROUGH HIGHWAYS --STOP
REQUIRED --ERECTION OF 'STOP' SIGNS --DETERMINATION OF
FOUR-WAY STOPS.
"(a) The following streets and parts of streets are hereby
declared to constitute through highways for the purpose
of this section:
ACACIA STREET; ANAHEIM -OLIVE ROAD; BALL ROAD;
BROADWAY; BROOKHURST STREET; CITRON STREET; LINCOLN AVE-
NUE; CERRITOS AVENUE; CRESCENT AVENUE; DALE AVENUE; EAST
STREET; EUCLID STREET; GILBERT STREET; HARBOR BOULEVARD;
KATELLA AVENUE; KNOTT AVENUE; LA PALMA AVENUE; LEMON STREET;
LOARA STREET, between Ball Road and Santa Ana Freeway and
between Santa Ana Freeway and Dogwood Street; ANAHEIM
BOULEVARD; MAGNOLIA AVENUE; MANCHESTER AVENUE; NINTH
STREET; NORTH STREET; NUTWOOD STREET; OLIVE STREET; ORANGE
AVENUE; ORANGEWOOD AVENUE; PATT STREET; STATE COLLEGE
BOULEVARD; ROMNEYA DRIVE, between Euclid Street and Lemon
Street and between East Street and Cypress Avenue; SANTA
ANA STREET; SOUTH STREET; SUNKIST STREET; SYCAMORE STREET;
VERMONT AVENUE; WALNUT STREET; WATER STREET; WEST STREET;
WESTERN AVENUE; CYPRESS STREET between Citron Street and
East Street; CHARTRES STREET between Citron Street and
.Atchison Street; ADELE STREET, between Anaheim Boulevard
and Orange Street; CLAUDINA STREET, between Lincoln Avenue
and North Street; WILHELMINA STREET, between Citron Street
and East Street; PHILADELPHIA STREET between Sycamore
Street and North Street; EMILY STREET, between Cypress
Street and Sycamore Street; CLEMENTINE STREET, between
Santa Ana Street and Cypress Street; HELENA STREET between
Santa Ana Street and Cypress Street.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
