2202ORDINANCE NO. 2202 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1676 and No. 1715 in Reclassification No. ,5 , recommencing an amendment to Title 18 of theAnaheim Municipal Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find- ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 20th day of July_ 19 �6 , as the time, and the Counc r amber in thy Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu- nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s) 654-5Z8, finding and determining that Title 18 of the AnaheimMunicipal Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s); and WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 65R-58, certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or changes of zone or zones have been complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound- aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows: -1- 64-65-135 That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: The northerly 219.75 feet of the southerly 225.00 feet of that portion of lot 1 of Anaheim Extension, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map of Survey made by William Hamel and filed in the office of the county recorder of Los Angeles County, California, a cop of which is shown in book 3, page 163, et seq., entitled 'Los Angeles County Maps," in the office of hcounty of alineparrecorder o allelwithand aSouth id a74' 31nge ' 10 West 815.00 westerly 815.00 feet from the easterly line of said lot. now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. That all air conditioning facilities shall be properly shielded from view from abutting streets. 2. That the curbs and gutters along Sycamore Street, East Street and Glenwood Avenue shall be repaired as required by the City Engineer, and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer. 3. That sidewalks shall be installed along Sycamore Street and East Street as required by the City Engineer, and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer. 4. That trash storage areas, providing for other than curbside pickup, shall be provided in accordance with approved plans on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets. 5. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department. 6. That subject property shall be developed in accord- ance with C-1, General Commercial Zone, Site Development Standards. 7. That a 6 -foot masonry wall, with no gates or open- ings, shall be constructed along the north and east property lines, and along the easterly approximately 120 feet of the south property line. 8. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3, 42 5 and 6 above- mentioned shall be complied with prior to final building inspec- tion. SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. -2- SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
