- AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RE-
LATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution in each
of the hereinafter numbered reclassifications, recommending
amendments to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and changes
in the boundaries of the zones hereinafter mentioned and de-
scribed, after having held public hearings thereon in the manner
and as prescribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
to consider such proposed changes of zones, and after having
received evidence and reports from persons interested therein;
and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend changes of
zones as set forth in said resolutions; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolutions, reports of
findings, summaries of evidence and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 14th day of
September, 1965, as the time, and the Council Chamber in the City
Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for public hearings
upon said proposed amendments to Title 18 of the Anaheim Munici-
pal Code and changes of zones, and did give notice thereof in
the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearings, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ings and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commis-
sion, and did adopt a resolution in each reclassification
proceeding, finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code should be amended and that changes in the bounda-
ries of said zones should be made as set forth in said resolutions.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such changes as follows:
That all of the property and area situated in the City of Ana-
heim, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly
hereinafter described under separate reclassification numbers,
be changed from the zones in which it is now incorporated to
the zone indicated for the specific area under each reclassifica-
tion. Said property is described and designated as follows:

RECLASSIFICATION NO. 65-66-27
Lot 2, Tract 2637, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 80, pages 1 and 2 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County.
now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE.
RECLASSIFICATION NO. 65-66-28
Lots 7 and 8, Tract No. 230, Jewett Subdivision, in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 13, page 25 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of said County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 10.25 feet, included within
Anaheim Boulevard.
now is C-3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE.
RECLASSIFICATION NO. 65-66-29
Lot 9, Tract No. 3203, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 96, page 23 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion described in
"Parcel One" and "Parcel Two11 in the deed to the City
of Anaheim, recorded September 25, 1962 in Book 6261,
page 542 of Official Records of said Orange County.
now is C-3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engi-
neer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to
be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
