2181Jt:DIiQANC>'.� NO. 2181 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM EXTENDING THE TERM OF ORDINANCE NO. 2028, AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, FOR A PERIOD OF SIS{ MONTHS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the City Council did on August 11, 1964 adopt an interim ordinance numbered 2028 amending Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code in accordance with Section 18.12.030(4) of said Code, by approving and adopting for usage as R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE,.-}, I;ESIDENTIAL ESTATE ZONE, R-0, ONE -FAMILY SUBURBAN ZONE, R-1, ONE-FAMILY,RESIDENTIAL ZONE, -2, TWO-FAMILY i;SIDEPITIAL ZONE, is -3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and M-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE those areas within the bounda- ries of said zones as shown on Exhibit "Al" a sectional district map of the City of Anaheim on file in the Planning Department of the City of Anaheim, said areas being all of the property included within the newly annexed territory known and designated as Yorba Annexation; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has conducted studies of said territory for the purpose of establishing perma- nent zoning for the newly annexed area known and designated as Yorba Annexation and has recommended to the City Council that said permanent zoning be adopted by the City Council as proposed by the Planning Commission; and �JHEREAS, proceedings for permanent zoning of said area are now in process and pending before the City Council; and WHEREAS, permanent zoning has not yet become final on said property; and WHEREAS, it is desirable that zoning be placed on said territory prior to the time permanent zoning becomes effective; and WHEREAS, in order to protect the public safety, health and welfare of the City and the citizens thereof, it is necessary that an urgency ordinance be adopted pursuant to Section 65806 of the Government Code, extending the term of Ordinance No. 2028 for a period of six (6) months. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 2028 amending Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and remain in full force and effect for a period of six (6) months from and after August 11, 1965. -1- T SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and immediately upon and after its passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
