AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1.04, SECTIONS
1.04.110 and 1.04.160 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 1, Chapter 1.04, Sections 1.04.110 and
1.04.160 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same are
hereby amended to read as follows:
1°CHAPTER 1.04 -- OFFICERS AND DEPARTMENTS
"SECTION 1.04.110 CITY DEPARTMENTS CREATED.
"There are hereby created for the government of the City
the following departments:
"Police Department
Fire Department
Utilities Department
Public Works Department
Parks and Recreation Department
Finance Department
Development Services Department
Legal Department
Personnel Department
City Clerk Department, and
Library Department
"SECTION 1.04.160 DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT --OFFICE
OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR --CREATED.
"The Development Services Department shall be under the
supervision of a Development Services Director, which of-
fice is hereby created. The Development Services Director
shall have supervision offer the following divisions: Build-
ing Division, Zoning Division, Advance Planning Division.
11The Building Division under the supervision of the Develop-
ment Services Director shall be headed by the Chief Building
Inspector, which office is hereby created. It shall be the
duty of the Chief Building Inspector, under the supervision
of the Development Services Director, to perform all duties
required by the Chief Building Inspector in the Building
Code of the City (Chapter 15.04 of this Code) and to per-
form all duties required as Chief Building Inspector under
the ordinances of the City.i1
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
