AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING
THE CITY COUNCIL; OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT,,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1531 --
Series 1964-65 in Reclassification No. 64-65-93 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in. the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter men tion.ed and described, after having held a
puhlic hearir.g t?�ereon in tbe mar,ne.r and as prescribed in said
Tir l,e 18 of the A7-,a.hieirrj Munlcipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zor.e or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS; said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zoat,e or zones as set. forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon. receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, s mmr: ry of eviden:e and recommendation of the City

pzblic hearing upon, said prciposed amerydment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Mun-t-- ipa:l Code and said change or changes of zone or
zones, and skid give nctice thereof in the manner and as provided
in said 'F°ttle 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Ccanci.l did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing .and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to he heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommenda.ticn of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Re,solut icn (s) No, (s) 65R-217 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the -na eim Municipa ode
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion (s)% and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution (s) 65R-217
, certain conditions and requirements were maw
as corn it ons precedent: to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all, conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW,, THEREFORE, THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
Lot No. 30 of Tract No. 3300, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 103, Pages 35 and 36 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County, California.
now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with plans and specifications on file with the City
of Anaheim, marked Exhibits Nos. 1, 2 and 3; PROVIDED, HOWEVER,
that the proposed masonry walls shall be stepped down to 42 inches
in height in the front 25 feet of the south and west property
lines.
2. That all air conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view from abutting streets, prior to final
building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the Cit yy Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 4th day of May 19 65

I, DENE M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No..2139 was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Anaheim held on the 27th day of April, 1965, and that
the same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of
said City Council held on the 4th day of May, 1965, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton, Schutte, Chandler and Pebley
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Krein
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor Pro Tem of the
City of Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2139
on the 4th day of May, 1965.
