A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR
FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W
#3500-86)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes for road and public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of CHI-LUNG TSAI and CHAO
MEI-LI TSAI to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for road and public
utility purposes, and more particularly described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and referred to as though set forth in full, be,
and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of
said property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be
construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the
City street system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a
warrant and pay to the owners of said real property, out of
General Funds of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No.
46-792-7107-E2740 the sum of Seven Hundred Thirteen Thousand
Eight Hundred Dollars ($713,800.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Senior Real Property
Agent of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to
open an escrow within 30 days, not to exceed 60 days, and to
execute the escrow documents and any other related documents.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim :his

division, as shown on a map recorded in Book 7, Page 23 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point of beginning in the South line of said
[.ot 1, distant thereon lS.69 feet Easterly from the South-
west corner of said Lot 1, said point also being in the
Westerly line of Zeyn Street, as conveyed to the City of
Anaheim, by deed recorded March 1, 1924 in Book 512, Page
257 of Deeds;
Thence South 89o35'00'' along the Southerly line of said Lots
1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, a distance of 170.95 feet;
Thence North 00°23'00" West a distance of 80.00 feet;
